Stony Rapids

Well I made it to Stony Rapids on Monday evening around 6:50 pm. The flight from PA was good, with a stop in LaRonge to fuel up and pick up passengers we were off to Fond Du Lac then of to Stony.

The hotel I am staying in is very nice. It is the newest accommodations here, opening its doors August 1, 2004 - Al's Place. I do have pictures that I will post tomorrow after I get home.

I am really hoping that I will have the opportunity to return again this summer to see the real beauty of Stony Rapids.

My flight leaves this evening for PA. It seems strange to look out the window here and see so much snow on the ground when we have next to nothing at home.
